Free, Confidential Social Services Consultations In-Person
Lauren Marino, LMSW from Suffield Community Aid, is offering free initial Social Services Consultations on the third Thursday of each month at Kent Memorial Library. Make an appointment if you need help. Appointments are required as spaces are limited.

Lauren Marino, LMSW was hired as the Community Outreach Coordinator in December 2024. Lauren coordinates services for individuals of all ages with diverse needs, providing support in areas such as aging, disability rights, substance abuse, mental health, housing, and financial assistance. She helps educate residents about available resources to ensure they are informed and able to access the help they need. Lauren serves as Suffield’s Municipal Agent for the Elderly as required by the CT Statute. Before coming to SCA, Lauren worked closely with community organizations, healthcare teams, and state agencies to create tailored solutions that promote well-being and independence as the Director of Social Services for skilled nursing facilities.
